TOMAS URIBE TOBON
TOMAS URIBE TOBON
Software Development Engineer II @ Amazon

About Me

I am a software development engineer within the Fire TV organization at Amazon with 4+ years of experience. I have led the delivery of the new, more intuitive Fire TV UI, which has been deployed to over 200 million global devices. I have also developed performance optimizations that provide our customers with a more fluid experience. Currently, I serve as a lead on Fire TV's Component Library, which is aimed at delivering a universal, server-driven UI experience across multiple Amazon devices.
Outside of work, I have created multiple projects. Some of my favorite projects include MuseumFever and a Sorting Algorithm Visualizer (SAV), which are highlighted below. I am very enthusiastic about learning new technologies, and I believe that my passion for all things tech allows me to solve novel engineering challenges quickly and effectively.
